The best way to report bugs or ask for help is through Discord. Find me in the SpicyChat community server or copy my username to send a DM.
The extension is available on the Chrome Web Store — that’s the easiest way to install and get automatic updates. If you prefer a manual install, follow the steps below.
⬇ Download spicychat-share.zip
Download the ZIP above and extract it.
Windows: right-click → Extract All…
Mac: double-click the ZIP — a folder appears automatically.
Type chrome://extensions in Chrome's address bar and press
Enter.
Or: Chrome menu (⋮) → Extensions → Manage Extensions.
Toggle on Developer mode in the top-right corner of the Extensions page. Three new buttons will appear — that's expected.
Click Load unpacked and select the folder you extracted in step 1
— the one that contains a file called manifest.json inside it.
Click the puzzle-piece 🧩 icon in the Chrome toolbar, find SpicyChat Share, and click the pin icon. Then go to any SpicyChat chat — hover a bot message and you'll see the share button appear.
⚠ Note: Chrome may show a banner saying “Disable Developer mode extensions” when you open a new window. This is normal for all manually-installed extensions and safe to dismiss. For automatic updates, install from the Chrome Web Store instead.
Make sure you're on a spicychat.ai/chat/… page. Try scrolling or waiting a moment for the page to finish loading, then hover over a bot message.
This can happen if the bot avatar failed to load. Try clicking share again. If the problem persists, report it on Discord with a screenshot.
You need to enable Developer mode first (step 3 above). The button only appears after that toggle is on.
Reach out on Discord — fallen_seraph03 — and describe what's happening. A screenshot helps a lot.
