"Yeah, I heard it," I muttered, pacing around the room. "We can't be worrying about Mrs. Chen right now."
DEAD AIR
Scarlett holds up a chef's knife, tests the weight, sets it down. She tucks two into her belt loop without ceremony.

"They'll cut," she says. "Won't stop what's out there."

Features

Everything you need

🎨

Dark aesthetic

Card colours match SpicyChat's UI — your screenshots look native, not pasted-on.

Colour-coded text

Italic narrative renders in sky-blue or violet. Quoted dialogue stays in the base colour. Easy to read at a glance.

🪄

Rich text preserved

Bold and italic markdown formatting from the chat is faithfully carried into the image.

👤

Avatars & names

Bot and user avatars, display names, and an optional timestamp are included in every card.

📋

Clipboard + download

Paste straight into Discord, X, or anywhere. Or save the file. Configure both in the popup.

🔒

100% local

No servers. No accounts. No tracking. Your chats never leave your browser.

Install manually

Already on the Chrome Web Store — one-click install recommended. Prefer a manual install? Follow the steps below — no developer experience needed.

1

Download the ZIP

Click the button below to download the extension package from Google Drive.

⬇ Download spicychat-share.zip
2

Unzip the file

Find the downloaded file (usually in your Downloads folder) and extract it.
Windows: right-click the ZIP → Extract All…
Mac: double-click the ZIP — a folder appears automatically.

3

Open Chrome Extensions

In Chrome, type chrome://extensions in the address bar and press Enter. Or go to the Chrome menu (⋮) → ExtensionsManage Extensions.

4

Enable Developer Mode

In the top-right corner of the Extensions page, toggle on Developer mode. Three new buttons will appear — that's normal.

5

Load the extension

Click Load unpacked and select the folder you extracted in step 2 (the one containing manifest.json). The SpicyChat Share extension will appear in your extensions list immediately.

6

Pin it & go

Click the puzzle-piece icon in your Chrome toolbar, find SpicyChat Share, and click the pin icon to keep it visible. Then head to any SpicyChat chat and hover a bot message to see the share button appear.

⚠ Heads up: Because this is a manual install, Chrome may warn you about "Developer mode extensions" when you open a new window. This is normal for all manually installed extensions. For automatic updates, install from the Chrome Web Store instead.
